Deletion

Over the years that I've had a PC, I have accumulated MANY "junk"
files. I just started to delete them. Some files do not delete -- I
get this message:

"Cannot delete file. Cannot read from source file or disk."

How could I delete these files?

Thank you.

First you should use Disk Cleanup utility provided in XP. You can
access this by doing:

Start, All Programs, Accesssories, System Tools, Disk cleanup

This should clar most of the junk.

Then you can bootup in safe mode and delete those files that you want to
delete manually.
