Deleting temporary IE6 files

I used the IE6 maintenance tools to move my temporary internet files; since
then IE6 does not delete the temp files even though the option is selected.

I want to move the file back to see if that fixes it; but I have no idea
where it should be.

Can someone give me some assistance and/or suggestions to get it working on
my d: drive.

Hi,
In XP Home, if "C" is the primary HD, the TIF folder is normally at
[C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files]
The Local Settings folder is hidden by default- make sure that you've
enabled "Show hidden files."

Well, that didn't work.
Can anyone tell me why IE6 does not delete the temporary items, even though
the option is set to do so?
