deleting slide transitions

Is there a way to delete all slide transitions?????? Selecting no transition
and apply to all does nothing.

In slide sorter view click CTRL-A to select all of the slides. Go to Slide
Show > Slide Transition.

Also, take a look at your master (View > Master > Slide Master) and see what
transition is applied there.

This is the first thing I tried but to not avail. It just completely
ignores this. The only thing I have found that seems to disable all
transitions is under slide show setup, checking no animation and also
checking use manual timing. Otherwise, deleting the animation is just
impossible.

Jim, are you trying to remove transitions or animations? They are two
different things....

What happens if you go to Slide Show--> Set up Show and check the "Show
without animations" checkbox? Does that get you closer to what you need?
