Is there anyway to delete a name that has been registered with your computer?
Its located in control panel, system and then it shows you who it is
registered to. I know its no big deal but i didnt know if you could change
it, i dont like seeing boyfriends ex's name on there...

If you are not referring to the "computer" name but the name to designated
as registered name - following may be of assistance: When you install
Windows XP, the installation procedure prompts you to enter your user name
and a company name. Then, this information displays on the general tab of
the System Properties dialog box under the Registered To heading. Windows XP
does not provide a utility for changing this registration information.
However, you can alter the registration i by editing the registry in the
following manner:
1.. Launch the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
2.. Select "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current
Version."
3.. Open the "Current version" folder
4.. Two values will be listed "RegisteredOrganization" and
"RegisteredOwner".
5.. Double-click to verify names
6.. Change to "whatever"
7.. Messing with the registry is at your risk!

Edit the registry,

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]

Locate "RegisteredOrganization" and "RegisteredOwner" and change the values
to what you require.

This may be a double post - if so - sorry:
