computer registration name and ownership

When I check this computers information it is registered to a name that should not be on there The computer says that it is registered to the nyce family. I should say that it is registered to Megan Burger. How do I change this
Also on all the files it says for example: documents and settings/angi
when it should say: documents and settings/mega
This computer was sent to Angie who had everything changed into her name after she had work done on it. This computer actually belongs to her daugher Megan Burger and I would like to change it back into her name
Can you help me?

Here's a handy little program that will let you change the
owner/organization on your XP computer

As to the second part of your question, you need to make an account in the
name of Megan, and a folder in Documents and Settings will be created for
her, with all her My Documents folder tree there.

Greetings --

To fix the "Registered to" information for WinNT/2K/XP, you can
use
Start > Run > Regedit.exe to edit:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\RegisteredOwner

and:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current
Version\RegisteredOrganization

How this will affect the name displayed in previously installed
applications will vary depending upon each individual program; some
read the registered owner information dynamically, while others read
it only during installation.

The C:\Documents and Settings\Username folders _cannot_ be
renamed, even if the associated user account has been. So, your best
course of action would be to log on using the built-in Administrator
account, create a new user account, with the username desired. You
can then delete the old user account(s).
