Deleting Problems

i have two external hard drives and on one i cannot delete some files. i
get the error message cannot delete file. cannot read from source file
or disk. but its only with some files. and when i use perfect disk and
try an offline defrag the message i get is drive * is marked dirty. can
anybody help please??
 
i'm sorry about the problem you are having. you may have to reformat or even
repartition the drive.

give me more details and i might find a way to make it so you do not have to
reformat anything.
