Deleting Past Recurring Appointments

Hi

One of our users has reached his mailbox limit, he has cleaned up hi
inbox and this is fine, we have checked his mailbox size and this ha
shown that the calender is where all the data is being taken up, th
user has lots of reoccuring appointments and i am wondering if there i
any way that outlook can automatically delete the reoccurin
appointments in the past, eg when an reoccuring appointment or task ha
been attended/completed, can this occurence be deleted
As going back through manually is not a quick process

Outlook 2003

Thanks in advanc

Recurrent events are single items, not multiple ones. Deleting a recurring
event will recover more space than a one-time event only if the recurrence
has exceptions and even then, not much.
