deleting password

I'm using windows xp professional. I would like to delete
the windows logon password, so that I no longer receive a
prompt for a password {not necessary as I'm only one
using the computer}. I searched google a bit and couldn't
find how to do this. Can you help?

control panel->user accounts->change account->remove
password

YOu need to go to the users section in control panel and
switch the way users log on or off.
Use fast switching and disable the password.
