Deleting Norton 360 trial program using MS Windows XP

My husband down loaded a Norton 360 trial program in Dec., and we have not
been able to delete it. We continue to get the following message: "Setup
Error; Another installation is currently running. Please wait for it to
complete and try again." I have tried everything I could find on the internet
(I think), and am unable to delete it. For work purposes, I have to load a
company version of Norton, and it will not load as long as I have this temp
program loaded. Does anyone have an answer or sugggestion as to how to
correct this problem?

You can download the Norotn Removal Tool, then run disk cleanup and try the
Other security Suite for Norton you got:
Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

Thanks nass, but I was unable to get the link to open.
I just tried it and it works. I wonder if your reader is breaking the
line in two? Try copying it and pasting in notepad, the "fixing" the
url so it's all one line, then paste that into your web browser.

Try to copy and past into your browser or try to search for Norton Removal
Tool and download it from Norton website.
Also try this:
Open a run command and type in:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll click [OK] Reboot your machine and see if you will be
able to open the link.
