Deleting & Moving Files in Vista

Hi, I've found that deleting and moving folders in Vista to be extremely slow
and cumbersome. When I try to delete a folder of any size (say 10-20 gigs)
it might take 10-15 minutes to move it to the recycle bin (it performs
multiple size calculations etc.). Moving a folder causes the same delays and
calculations. In XP moving or deleting a folder only took a few seconds.
What's going on? FYI, I'm not attempting to move/delete folders across
different hard drives. Everything is on my main "c" drive. What's going on?

Have you installed these two updates?
They may help. Especially, the first one.
