Deleting language files

Is it safe to create disk space by deleting foreign language files in the
directory

C:\I386\LANG

For example there is a whole set of "JPN" files, but I don't do anything
that requires Japanese characters.

I wouldn't delete anything in that directory. Seems like you should be able
to remove those by goign into regional settings are add/remove programs then
windows components.
