deleting junk mail

Is there a way to have junk mail deleted completely instead of going to the
deleted folder? For the last week I have been getting mail with the
worm.automat.ahb virus. My antivirus program picks it up but it is a pain
in the butt to keep deleting them.

How the junk initially is handled is up to your anti-virus program. Once it gets into Outlook, you can delete manually or (my preference) set Outlook to autoarchive every day and set the junk folder to retain messages for the minimum period, which is one day.
