I have an Internet Gateway in my Network Connections Windows which has a
connection that says Internet Connection.

I don't want to make use of this service, such as ICS ... does anyone knows
how to delete this thing ?

thanks

The Internet Gateway doesn't mean that ICS or any extra service is
running on your computer, and there's no benefit to deleting it.

The Internet Gateway represents the device on your network that
provides Internet access to the computers. Most likely, that's a
broadband router.

Clicking the Internet Gateway icon lets you monitor and control the
Internet Gateway device. For details, see the topic "Using Internet
Gateway Device Discovery and Control" in Windows XP Help and Support.

To delete the Internet Gateway, disable "Universal Plug and Play" in
your router.
