Deleting files,which ones are safe to remove?

I was hoping that someone could tell me what files are safe to remove from my
computer.

any files in 'Temporary Internet Files' and 'Temp' folder are safe to remove
from the computer

Use a progam called "CCleaner", download, install and run it.
www.ccleaner.com
works well and cleans out a lot of trash on your system.

You can also set Internet explorer to cllean out temp files on closing.
also after cleaning system, defrag it.

You probably have many thousands of files. Nobody can give you a simple
comprehensive answer, although people can make suggestions like deleting the
contents of the temp folder.

Why do you want to remove files? Are you short of disk space? How big is
your hard drive and how much of it is free?
