deleting files: very urgent, need help

i downloaded a theme from themeworld.com and installed it in my laptop. unfortunately, it didn't work. right now, i'm trying to delete the file but an error message appears. it says something like, "cannot delete file: the directory is not empty." i tried every possibility that i know but it still, it didn't work. i deleted the font that i installed because i thought that was the problem, but nothing changed... i still couldn't delete the file.

any ideas

Boot up in safe mode or DOS and try to delete.
