Deleting email addresses

What is the best/fastest way to delete unwanted saved email addresses in
Outllook?
Example: When entering an email address in the "to" box of an email Outlook
remembers a previously entered email. I want to delete the unwanted email
addresses saved in Outlook. Note--these email address are not in the Address
Book.

You have to physically delete each one from the box. Use the arrow keys to
select and then hit the delete button.
