Deleting Downloaded Files

My roommate downloads several 1 or 2 MB movies every day on my computer. When
I get home from work every day, I go in and delete all of these "movies" from
the folder: "Documents and Settings/JuanG/Local Settings/Temp." However, even
though I delete all of these files and then empty my Recycle Bin, the amount
of "Disk Free Space" keeps going down. Are there other files that I need to
delete when I clean out these movies? I am running Windows2000 Professional
Edition, with Internet Explorer 6.

O

oops!!

Try a cleanup with CCleaner:

www.ccleaner.com

Download and install it.

Start CCleaner and under "Cleaner" tick/select all options, then click the
"Run Cleaner" button and reboot when finished.

Test.

The spyware, adware, virus, etc. files that come with these downloads.

Better yet, make your roommate pay for the cost of cleaning up your
computer.

They are probably still in the user's Temporary Internet Files folder:

Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Careful with the options of CCleaner before running it - it can delete the
uninstall/reinstall info on programs that you might need later.

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried this, and it did free up some disk
space for me.
