Deleting addresses from

I would like to delete the address history in the address
bar that is under the tabs tools-internet options-general-
home page section titled "you can change which page to use
as your home page".

I have deleted all the temporary intenet files, cookies
and also cleared the history from that same general tab.
I have also right clicked on my task bar and under
properties-advanced-i have hit cear to remove records of
recently accessed documents,etc...

These are coming from the index.dat file in the History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
