deleting address bar

The old problem of looking at a site that I don't want my
wife to see....usually you can just clear history and
that seems to take care of the problem, but for some
reason I can't get one of the sites to go away. Does
anyone know of a way to further delete your history
without buying software to delete it all?

If anyone can help it would surly be appreciated and keep
me out of trouble
 
Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?
