Deleting a locked .DLL (Adware)

Hi!

I have been a victim of the Look2Me Adware. I have been
trying to delete it, I ran Norton, but it will not delete
it. When I go to eliminate the file manually, I do not
have access, it says it is being used by the operating
system. Once you get out of Norton, it changes it's name.
How do I get rid of it? Any help would be appreciated

That doesn't really help. I followed the instructions
there to the letter and still cannot delete the file.
What's more every time I reboot in safe mode the file
changes its name.

I don't know this particular one, but a useful general tip for deleting
files in use is to start by renaming them. Then reboot, they cannot
come into use, so you can then delete the renamed file. But these
adware cases can get very complicated. I suggest consulting first
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm and then going to that sites Forums -
http://forum.aumha.org where there is one on Parasites and another on
Parasite Fighting Recipes that you might find useful

Have you tried booting into safe mode and running the various
spyware/adware/malware removal tools?
