Please help.
I have an AVI file that is causing me loads of problems. Since I downloaded
it, I'm unable to delete it as it says it's in use by another program. As
well as this, all my media files suddenly disappear when I open the 'my
music' folder and whenever I try to access it, it causes my pc to lag and
eventually crash.
I've ran avast virus detector over it, but it doesn't pick anything up. I've
tried running windows in safe mode to try and delete it, but still get the
same message - the file is in use by another program.
I've looked at my running programs therough a third party program, but I
can't identify which one may be using it.
Do you think its a trojan horse/virus? Is there anyway I can have the
absolute basics running in order to try and delete this file?
Any help would be greatfully appreciated as I'm getting pretty desperate.
