I am having a problem with deleting an activex control.
It is crystal reports that is used when accessing a
banking website to review statements. The bank has
updated it but before installing the new one I must delete
the old. When I go into IE properties, click on Temporary
internet file settings view objects to delete. It acts
like it is deleting but when I refresh it is still there.
Also if we try to change the attributes of any file from
read only it also acts as if it has changed but it does
not. Any help would be appreciated.

Launch IE and from the Toolbar select:
Tools > Internet Options > Settings > View Objects,
then right-click on each to find your ActiveX control,
then delete it.
