deleted XP file

Installed new hard drive. Installed new out of box Windows
XP. Installed updates to XP. Installed Virus protection.
Got Nachi virus. In removing virus it was necessary to
delete file: C:\windows\system32\wins\DLLHOST.EXE. During
virus removal was necessary to disable System Restore. My
question is: is this deleted file necessary & if so how
can I get it back? This all happened so fast did not have
opportunity to make recovery disks.

I would peform a repair installation of Windows and immediately enable the
Internet Connection Firewall. Then go to Windows Update and download
Service Pack 1. When the computer has restarted, go back to Windows Update
and download the remaining critical updates.
