deleted virus

i had a trojan horse embedded which i found and
deleted.then i emptied the recycle bin.i forgot to then
restart my pc to remove it completely.i need to recover
that file which was deleted from the recycle bin,cos my
anti virus is still detecting it,and i need to delete it
properly.can i retrieve files which i deleted from my
bin.thanks.

You can recover certain files, but this will cost more than it is worth.
If the antivirus is still finding a virus, it probably exists in more
than one location. I would check and see where it says the virus is and
see if it can fix the problem or if you can manually figure out what is
going on. You should also check out Spybot Search and Destroy and
perhaps a Trojan Remover to see if those can find anything else
