Deleted sound files??

I recently installed Sonic Stage (A Sony music player) on my PC. It asked my
if I wanted to import music from my PC into the library of the player. Sure I
said. Then when I looked at my music in the library, it was full of weird
named files. So, I deleted them.......Now there is no sounds from the PC when
I boot, click, etc. When I go to the sounds section in the control panel, it
says the .wav file can not be found. The question is.....how can I re-install
the sound files. If that is possible. I would appreciate some "sound" advice.
Pardon the pun.

Looks like Sonic Stage took over as your default sound player and may
have converted the WAV files to a different format. You can try a system
restore to before you installed it. You can go back up to 90 days.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
Or:
Restore Sound (Line 371)

Or:

Scroll down to "Where did my Sounds go?" and click on it.
