Deleted mail reappears

Hi There,

I have a user who has outlook 2000 on their laptop and in
the last few days they are getting mail that they have
deleted up to three months ago. each time they delete and
empty deleted items I watch as the inbox fills again with
this old mail. The user has a private home account and
also when in this office acccesses the exchange 2000
server. Mail is direted to both these accounts. I cant see
any reasons why this would begin recently and I cannot
find any probs in the office. If anyone can help I would
be grateful

Somehow they probably hit the synchronize button. This
will save the email read on one computer and show it on
the other one when they go to email on it. Just go back
to synchro and click off of it.

When you delete the mail, meaning empty the deleted items,
where is it going? You should be able to tell the
computer where to put these items after they have been
deleted.
