Deleted Lycos Free Access

I deleted the Lycos Free Access program from my Windows
2000 Professional system. And, I recall seeing somewhere
that this should not be deleted.

Does anyone know why it needs to be on my system, and if
not having it will cause any problems? Also, does anyone
know how I can reinstall this?
 
From what I can see Lycos Free Access is a free (ad supported) internet
provider. If you use this for your internet provider then you need the
program to access the internet. If you don't use Lycos Free Access you
can remove the program.
