Deleted Items Folder--Losing Items

For some strange reason it seems Vista (Business) mail is emptying my
Deleted Items folder after a day. I can't see where this setting might be...
not in Options that I can find. Any idea how to stop the unwanted emptying
of my Deleted Items folder?

Click on Deleted Items, then View, then Current View, then Show All
Messages. This will help if they are only hidden, not deleted.
 
Options -> 'Advanced' tab -> 'Maintenance...' button -> clear the checkbox
labeled: 'Empty Deleted Items folder on exit'
 
Many thanks, Keith. That's exactly what I needed to do. Curious how it
became checked since Mail has been working fine for more than 6 months. Must
be a poltergeist.
