Deleted history keeps restoring itself????

Help!

I keep trying to delete my history at the end of the day. No matter which
method I try it will seem to delete just fine. Then when I close and
reopen my browser that days history is still sitting there.

If I manually delete individual entries that seems to work. But after a
certain number (around 12) it loses the ability to delete individual
entries.

TIA for any help...

Zander,
Possibly your History folder is corrupt:
[XP\2K]
Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder(s).

"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

Note: McAfee AV with ActiveX controls enabled is known to cause History
problems.
