I "believe" I deleted my Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 Help an
Support. When I click on Help and Support, it looks like it's going t
start, but nothing happens. I can't access "System Information" when
go to System Tools now either. I've tried a few things(not that I ca
remember exactly what they were), but haven't had any success. I
would really appreciate any help and suggestions you might have. Than
you, Ilen

You might try these registry fixes:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Line 235. Restore Help and Support Service
Line 344. Help and Support Default in XP

Also try SFC, System file checker, which looks for damaged/missing files
and restores them. Click Start, Run, type SFC /SCANNOW, click OK. If
any files are damaged or missing, they'll be replaced. You may need to
reboot afterwards so damaged files will be replaced.

Thank you Joe and Bert for your help. Just so you'll know, I went to
Kelly's site. I really wasn't brave enough to attempt to tackle the
suggested Registry Changes, but stumbled onto a solution that worked
for me -Go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -regserver. I waited way
too long to long to ask for help. Your kind responses are much
appreciated.

Go into windows , directory INF find pchealth.inf , right click and do the
install follow the directions copy the files
If it ask for the cd , copy the name of the file , go into windows explore
and do a file on the file
go back to the copy screen( it will still be there ) go to browse and change
it to the directory were you located the file
I did it , I will tell you takes some time but it works , if you come across
a file that is not located on your hard drive
post the name of the file back to this group (pchdt_p3.cab) that was the
file I needed
