I have installed on my PC the MS Windows XP Home
Edition. Last week my system got a virus
called 'Dowload.Trojan'. The file infected was
MSupdater. Instead of quaratineeing this file I deleted
it, which I think was wrong. Now I'm having problems
with the XP and with the Internet Explorer.
My question is: how can I copy this file MSupdater back
into my system?

Thanky you.

Fernando

Explain in detail the problems you're having, Fernando, which lead you to
believe you need MSupdater (which is *not* a Windows file BTW).

Are your virus definitions up-to-date? Have you run a full system scan?

Trying running Hijack This (you may need to do so in Safe Mode):
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) then post your
files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ for the experts to examine. Please
don't post them here.
