Press the Del key perhaps.
Right-click and select Delete perhaps.

To delete more than one at a single operation, click on the first message
and with the shift key held down click on the last. Now right click and
select delete.

1.. Click the Mail shortcut.
2.. Open the folder that contains the message you want to delete.
3.. Select the message you want to delete.
4.. On the toolbar, click Delete , or press the DELETE key.
Note
Deleted messages are stored in the Deleted items folder. Windows Live
Mail periodically empties the Deleted items folder. To empty the Deleted
items folder manually, right-click it, and then click Empty Folder.

1.. To delete multiple messages, hold down the CTRL key, and click
each of the messages you want to delete. Or, to select several messages
in a row, hold down the SHIFT key and click the first and last messages.
