Delete TCP/IP port

Hi;

I tried to install a network printer on my computer. I screwed up the
settings and now when I try to reinstall the printer I recieve a
message that the tcp/ip port is already in use. When I try to delete
the port, I recieve an error that the resource is in use and cant be
deleted. Using regedit, I found the printer and deleted the key. I then
restarted the computer and again attempted to delete the port. Again I
recieved an error that the resource was in use. How can I delete this
port????

Thanks for any help

Quick and dirty - do a System Restore to before you tried to add the
printer.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"

Hi,

I have ran into the problems before and what I did create anohter Bogus
TCP/IP Port. Once the Bogus one is setup, you will be able to delete the one
you want.
