delete profile

Hi

I recently bought a laptop on approval and have found it was not up to
scratch so I am sending it back. The proplem I have is that when I
configured it on windows 7 to use it, it now has two users on it. The
administrator and the Guest. Somehow the administrator also has my name on
it and the profile for it shows my name.

My question is, how do I delete the profile of the administrator account so
that I can return the cumuter to its original state as when I took delivery
of it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

The laptop would have come with a recovery partition or recovery cd/dvd,
why not use them to restore the computer to its factory state?

PS. If this is a factory authorized return, and as long as there is no
personal data on the machine it shouldn't matter if there are additional
profiles on the machine, the manufacturer will erase all of what you did
when they refurbish the machine.

In addition to what others have (rightly) said, if you don't want your name on the
Admin profile when you send it back - just re-name the profile back to
"Administrator" or "Admin"...

Hi chesjak,

Well even I would suggest that not worry about profile because it has only user modification details. You can send back if you dont have any data on it.
