Delete messages

I use Microsoft Outlook Express and for the last two days I have been
unable to remove messages from my Inbox. When I Delete them they
appear in the Deleted folder and from there I can delete them
permanently, but when I return to the Inbox they are still there. If I
click on them several times they appear in the Deleted folder the same
number of times that I have clicked, but they are still in the Inbox!
I need HELP.!!!!!!!

It sounds like the Inbox is corrupted.

Go to Tools/Options/Maintenance Tab. Click the Store Folder button to see where the OE files are kept. Close Outlook Express. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to that store folder. Locate the Inbox.dbx file and delete it.

Restart OE and it will automatically create a new Inbox file.

What can I do about messages that are being automatically deleted after
reading them? I have noticed the past couple of days that after I have read
a message, then the next time I open the program, that message has been
deleted. How do I make it stop doing that?

Click View, Current View, Show all messages.
