Delete "locations" in Publish Web window - AGAIN

Tiffany K. Edmonds suggested deleting these "shortcut
locations" from My Network Places. This did NOT work.

When I click "Publish Web" in FrontPage 2000, the Publish
Web window opens and asks "Specify the location to publish
your web to:" above a drop-down menu. Every location I
have ever entered is here. I have too many. These are
what I need to delete.

Above those "locations" is another drop down menu - it most likely is "My
Network Places"
What happens when you right-click on one of the icons from within the
Publish web dialog box and select delete? Do you get a confirmation prompt
to delete the shortcut? Error message that you can't delete it?

I see no other drop down menu.
When I right click & delete, the entry in the drop down
window bar goes blank. But, when I click the arrow for
the drop down menu, what I deleted is still in the menu.
I have also tried the delete key, Ctrl delete, etc.

Your recent webs and published webs are stored in the Windows Registry and your web cache files
Find and delete all *.web files

Then, If you are comfortable w/ the registry editor (backup before you edit)
Find and delete the webs you don't use any more in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Recent File List
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Recent Publish List
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Recent Web List
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Recently Created Servers
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Webs\Opened
