Delete Hotmail folder

I have deleted the hotmail account but the folder still appears. I am
receiving the error message below. All I want to do is delete the Hotmail
folder. I have tried everything suggested except reloading Outlook, Does
anyone have suggestions?

This error usually appears if the OST or PST file you are using is:
Unavailable
Protected with file permissions
On a share on a server and the network is down
Corrupt

Creating a new mail profile will fix the problem.

It did eliminate the Hotmail folder but now I have 2 personal folders. One
of the personal folders is the correct folder that contains mail, etc. The
other folder has the same sub-folders but not information. I can not delete
it or rename it. Do you have any suggestions?

Sounds like you did something wrong when recreating the new profile. CLick
FIle>Data File Management and see if you can remove it there.
