Yes and thanks for the clarification. It's just that
only one url displays when history is empty and auto
complete is turned on. Turning auto complete off
disables that function for all retained history in ie.
That's normal. Don't worry about it.
There are other sources for AutoComplete information
than the History. E.g. some suspected sources are
the URLs associated with AutoComplete for Forms
and Passwords. If you wanted to try to get rid of them
you should use their Clear commands, then Clear History
again (preferably using the Internet Options Control Panel
applet with nothing else running.) BTW that is not all of the
ones I know about either but there must be others that I don't
know about because many people still complain about this.
If you don't want to see anything turn the feature off.
Mike Burgess has another approach to dealing with this.
Instead of using the Clear History command which will repopulate
the AutoSuggest list with fake visits from these mystery sources,
he suggests you delete the entire History folder. Apparently
it regenerates sufficiently the next time IE is started but without
the above re-visiting "feechur". Search his posts for reference
to delcache, etc. to find a link to his web site. BTW the behaviour
may vary with OS. My knowledge is based on experience with NTx.
