Delete hardware safely icon disappear!

Recently, I found that the green "delete hardware safely" icon disappear
sometimes. Even I plug a flash disk, it never comes out. It should always in
there because my cd-rw is a plug and play hardware. I don't know why. I will
very appreciate for your help. Thank you!
 
The icon will show when in use or if you turn it on. It will disappear when
not in use or turned off.
