Delete email - pc shuts down

Sorry if this is a duplicate posting, I got a message that "Page cannot be
displayed" after clicking on the Post button a few minutes ago.

I have Outlook 2003 with XP operating system. For the last 2 weeks, when I
delete an email in my Inbox, the monitor appears to lose communication
between itself and the computer. The computer's power light stays green but
the monitor goes from green to amber, as if it no longer recognizes that it
and the computer are still talking to one another. In an attempt to isolate
and resolve the issue, I have done the following, not necessarily in this
order:

1)Ran a full Norton AntiVirus scan
2)Ran Spybot's Search & Destroy - fix all problems found
3)Created new mail profile
4)Right clicked on desired email, then selected Delete from pop-up list
5)Checked Network Adapter settings
6)Checked Hibernation settings
7)Checked Power settings
8)Installed all Windows updates available

Again, this just started happening and I can't put my finger on anything
that was recently installed that may have contributed to this; it only
happens when I delete an email, not during a Send/Receive or anything else.
Your assistance is appreciated!

Good afternoon. I had already tried creating a new mail profile and the
computer already has the most current driver available. Any other
suggestions? Thanks for your time.
