Delete Duplicates

I have a smartphone which links into my Outlook account via an Exchange
server. A recent re-set of the phone has somehow resulted in all of my
contacts being duplicated (both in Outlook and on the phone).

Is there a way of deleting duplicates, without having to go through
individually selecting them?

Thanks for any advice.

If the duplicates were all created with the same date - one solution may be
to create a view with the <create date> and delete all of those that apply.
This of course assumes that your contact folder was not completely
<re-constructed> with all contacts (original and dupes) ending up with the
same <create date>. You would also, of course, have to ensure that any new
contacts created on the same day are also not inadvertantly deleted.

If the above isn't a viable solution - you may find our Duplicate Contact
Manager of interest - it provides a full preview capability allowing you to
pick and choose on an item by item basis (if desired) what should or
shouldn't get deleted prior to anything being done. Dupes can either be
deleted or moved to another folder -
