Delete cross posted messages under Windows Mail

Is this the right newsgroup for asking questions about the
newsgroup section of Windows Mail?

I've subscribed to microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
to learn more about Vista, but the messages are coming in
faster than I can read them. Is there a way to tell Windows
Mail to delete all the messages crossposted to a Linux or
Mac newsgroup, since they are seldom worth reading even
if they come from posters who post useful messages?

I can probably get my ISP to carry all the newsgroups
involved, if that helps.

Menu Messages/Create rules from Messages -- where you have some options. You
also have menu Messages/Junk email where you can take out a domain, which
I'll assume is for a NG too.

I also used to subscribe to vista.general, but I quit for the
same reasons you mentioned, too many posts, many of
those off-topic. I don't think you can filter on cross-posting.

I've already created about 300 rules to delete messages from users who never
post anything worth reading.

I don't want to delete a whole domain, but I'll check if this method will
delete
messages crossposted to the newsgroups I don't want.

I've tried entering a newsgroup name instead of a domain name in the
junk mail blocking rule. It seems to delete some message threads
crossposted to that newsgroup, but not all of them.

I've also tried subscribing to microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
under Microsoft Communities instead of under my ISP's newsgroup
server, where I got it before. With this connection, I see only
messages that aren't crossposted to a newsgroup with a name not
starting with microsoft.public, so that's a major improvement.
