Delete Block(Y/N)???

How did I manage to get the above message to come up every time I hit the
delete button? (As opposed to being able to delete the selected text...)
 
On the General tab of Tools | Options, clear the check boxes for both items
that refer to WordPerfect.

Tools>Options>General. Uncheck "Help for WordPerfect Users" and "Navigation
Keys for WordPerfect Users."
