Delete Y/N block

While in Word if I highlight a word or sentence and hit the delete key I get
a box in the lower left corner that says Delete Block? No (Yes). This showed
up when the IS department loaded the new operating system, but they cannot
figure out why I have to hit the Y or N button to delete. HELP it is driving
me nuts

Tools | Options | General: Clear the check boxes for both options that refer
to WordPerfect.

Someone set something to enable Help and keyboard for WordPerfect users. Go back
to Tools/Options/General and deactivate the two WordPerfect options.
