Delegate - meeting requests don't delete after being accepted

I have an executive admin that is a delegate for many individuals. She is
granted Editor rights to her execs calendar.

The problem she's having (since we've upgraded to Exchange 2000 from 5.5) is
that when she opens the meeting request in her inbox and accepts it, the
meeting request does not delete. (It does, however, accept the meeting.)

Meeting requests that are sent directly to her, do, however, delete.

The option Tools/Options/Email Options/Advanced Email Options/
“Delete meeting request from Inbox when responding†is checkmarked.

Anyone have a clue why this is happening?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Does the owner (delegator) have the option checked to only send to the
delegate?

Hi Milly,
Thanks for responding.
No they don't. It was set this way for quite a while and this didn't happen
when we were on 5.5. Is what you described the reason it's happening?
Pls advise.
thanks!

More info. Found that the delegate is accepting the meeting from the
calendar. I was able to test this and found that it doesn't delete when you
accept from the calendar. She swears it used to. Is it possible that it did
when we were on 5.5 and Exchange 2000 doesn't work that way??
