Delegate is unable to accept meeting requests for her manager

I have a delegate who continously receives the following error when she tried
to accept a meeting request for her manager: "Can't open Calendar Folder for
user 'Manager's name'. Item could not be found."
Both the delegate and the manager have Windows XP SP1 and Outlook 2003 SP1.
The manager's Outlook is configured to "Send meeting requests and responses
only to my delegates, not to me. There is only one delegate assigned to the
manager's mailbox. The delegate is not using Cached Exchange Mode. The
delegate and manager have Blackberry devices.
More info: The last request that errored out was a requested that was
updated and resent. The status on the top of the request said "This meeting
is not in 'Manager's name' Calendar".
Any help in resolving problem appreciated.

The delegate has Editor permissions on the manager's calendar.

I have the same type on config and error - what I was going to do is remove
the access for the delegate and then add it back in.

I will let you know how that works.
