Delays in slide transition

I am using the manual mode and have checked the box for each slide on slide
set up, but when I start my presentation I have to hit enter or click my
mouse upto 10-15 after each slide.

I don't fully understand what you man by "Manual Mode". When you click on the Animations Tab what is selected under the Advance Slide option? do you have all the updates for Office 2007?

What I meant by manual mode is that I would hit the enter button and
transition the slides instead of the computer doing it automatically.
Anyway, I did as you stated and saw some things that I was not familiar with
and deleted those setting and now my slide presentation is perfect. Thank you
