"Delayed Write Failled"

I received a "Delayed Write Failled" error message when saving large files to
windows 2003 SB Server. I have searched windows support center, but the
solution to fix saving files to server has not fixed the problem. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

System:
Asus A8V Mobo
AMD 64 4000 w/ 2 GB Ram
XP Pro SP2
ATI Radeon X800 Pro
Seagate 320082 - 200gb SATA w/ VIA Raid controller VT8237

If you are seeing Delayed Write Failed messages then you have either a bad
drive or the controller card (even if it's on the motherboard) is flakey.

This type of problem does not normally fix itself, it's one of those
things where you are going to have to replace a drive, cable, or
controller card.

Understanding your message here - the WinXP Pro SP2 machine's event log has
"Delayed Write Failed", but only when you are saving "large" files to a
Win2k3 SB Server? If the Win2k3 SB Server's event long does not contain a
"Delayed Write Failed" corresponding to the same time as the WinXP Pro SP2
machine's, then what you are experiencing is simple network traffic
congestion and/or collisions.
I guess to really diagnose, we'd need the most import piece of information
that has been left out, what is the rest of "Delayed Write Failed" message,
it would contain the logical unit ID and the actual error codes.
