Delayed Write Failed

Bo

On one of our network pc's we had this "Delayed Write Failed" error message,
when it was trying to write back to the server, with the following content
"Windows was unable to save all the data for the file "xyz" . The data has
been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer or network
connection. Please try to save this file elswhere".
What is the cause of this error message?.
Thanks.

The cause is pretty much what it says - during the file save the data stream
was interrupted. This could be caused by a server problem, a problem with
the network hardware anywhere between the server and the PC, or a problem
with the PC.

As Richard said, this may be the hardware issue. I just had a case this weekend. This link may help
