When I move the pointer, either via the touchpad or the
mouse, I frequently get quick pauses before the mouse
moves. The pointer eventually moves to the place
corresponding to the movement of the mouse, but typically
after a quick delay of perhaps a quarter second. It
happens sporadically but quite frequently...perhaps half
the time. It's an XP machine with plenty of RAM, and
only one or two applications running. And it doesn't
matter what app. I'm using. It behaves as if another
app. was momentarily using all of the system resources,
but I'm not aware what app. that might be, unless
something is running in the background I'm not aware of.
If anyone has thoughts on this, I'd certainly be
appreciative. Thanks!
